In the U.S. the wind power is a branch of energy industry. It has also expanded very quickly over the last several years. In the last 17 years the wind industry has had an annual growth of 15.6%. The U.S. department reports that we will have 20% of our energy be wind energy by 2030. It could envision that it could supply 20% of the U.S. electricity. The first multiple wind turbine in the U.S. is in Pettibone, North Dakota in 1940. In 1974 the government worked to get the industries to advance the technology and enable the large commercial wind turbines. They did an experiment with the wind turbines that were put into operation, and they put it in four major designs. | |
